Long would be a great leader.

We are certainly missing DL leadership. But I can't see us paying the most for his services.

USA today quote:
"Pro Football Focus' grades have not painted a very good picture of Laurinaitis. He ranked 59th of 60 inside linebackers last season, and has only posted a positive seasonal grade once since getting drafted 35th overall out of Ohio State in 2009."
I had no idea. He seems to make an impact. But I only watch the Rams 2-4 times a year.
BEAT LA!

I'd still take Long, he's only 30. would add some veteran experience/leadership/personality, DL depth

Baalke will pick up Jared Cook: he's still only 28 y/o, arm length 35 3/4" / hands 10 1/4" / 4.37 40 / 41" vertical
Coached by Baalke's buddy Steve Spurrier

I haven't seen him play much, but his productivity hasn't been good, so maybe he has no hear? But might be a worthwhile add, if the price is right.
He hasn't had a good QB or good offense throughout his career, so maybe he would blossom under Chip?

Some solid veteran stop gap options. No justin smiths, but maybe a Carlos Rodgers.

Long has injury history/injury prone?
Baalke prolly been working the phones all night. Prolly asking if he has ever had a knee injury

I'd pass on long he doesn't fit our scheme. Be like the fangio bears trying to convert Jared Allen into a 34 olb.

I'd take a flyer on Long if the price were low. The other two I'd pass.
