I wouldnt mind bring in RG III as a back up and letting Gabbert walk. Dont see any of the draft QBs as top tier Dynasty quality QBs. RG III is better passer than Kap but had defensive read problems. I think Chip can help him alot better than the Redskins did.

Goodell is not even willing to meet with him at this point. He was non-committal as to whether or not Gordon will be reinstated.

His career, just like Daryl Washington's could be done.

Let's keep an eye on that contract. I wouldn't offer RG3 anything more than $3.5 - $5mil per season at very most (especially with the #2 pick only getting 4yr/$24mil) but I have a feeling he and his agent are looking for $7 - $8 mil per season.

I'm guessing they give him a 1yr $6mil contract or 2yr $10-$13mil

If they get rid of McCown I think it means they will go with Wentz in the draft to fit the style they are aiming for with RG3.

I think for $4.375mil (2016) + $3.625 (2017) I would keep him as a QB you know can at least manage the game and help win. There are no guarantees with RG3 or Wentz.

So glad he is not going to be a 49er.

We are the only team in the top 7 picks with a huge need at QB, except for the cowboys I guess.

This is huge for us. Cleveland might still want a qb, but now they can prioritize bigger needs.

I don't think it changes anything. Cleveland will still take a Qb at #2 and just sit him behind RG3 for the next two years.
