In the case of the Rams the city was in financial turmoil and couldn't fork over the cash to build a new facility. Couple that with the fact that the owner was a St Louis native...

Sounds like a terrible market. Terrible market and a terrible owner. But that is the idea you're supporting.

No matket has lost more teams than Los Angeles and they haven't been able tonget it done for a long time. The NFL is a joke with how they treat the fans when they move their franchuses. It is not the fans' fault.

I've stated this numerous times, but some have difficulty retaining information and I don't want to make anyone feel left out, so I will say it again:

St. Louis, Missouri can be a GREAT football market when working with a owner committed to the city. Stan Kroenke has been nowhere near that. He is in fact the worst owner in the NFL and his actions are on himself and not the great city of St. Louis. If the Rams do end up staying in St. Louis, I hope the liar known as Stan Kroenke ends up selling the team. That would allow St. Louis to prove the kind of market it can be.

As you all know, if the team you love doesn't provide a product worth paying for, the fans will not show up. An example you may be familiar with is the recent attendance at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Does that limited attendance say anything regarding the city of Santa Clara or its fans? Not really because the product they were being given with sub-par talent like DuJuan Harris, Blake Bell, Erik Pears, etc isn't something I myself would be excited to pay to see.

Given the fact the Rams haven't been over .500 in 13 years, I'd imagine that limited success and restriction of comments from the owner would eventually cause those fine citizens of St. Louis to not want to attend either.

With that said, it is half time and my wings are here.

No. It fact I just read on Forbes that it's the worst city in the entire country in terms of net mirgration. Nobody wants to live there so it stands to reason that nobody wants to visit it either, outside of residents of St Louis suburbs.

Beating out cities like Detriot is pretty damning.

It's the right move for the Rams. The only thing preventing this from unfolding is the two other teams that are trying to latch on to the same market. I wonder why more teams aren't scrambling for a stadium in St Louis.

After the Rams rwturn to LA, the NFL will sucker STL into offering to subsidize a stadium so thar the NFL can leverage STL against markets where an owner wants a new publicly subsidized stadium.

Jerry Jones has a lot of power in the NFL among the owners and he proposed that the Rams and Chargers unite together in Inglewood. My guess is that this will happen although the 2 teams could end up in Carson. I think the Raiders will remain in Oakland.

When a team bashes the city they've played in for @ 20 yrs you know it's bad...so the choice is clear: St. Louis.

After st louis loses the rams they should just get a AAA baseball team. Maybe even a AA aswell.
