Says who? Miami has been in dumpster fire status for awhile. Remember them trying to hire Harbaugh while still having a coach under contract?
They have talent on their roster but Im not worried about them beating out the 49ers for a coach.
Jackson and Gase are notably younger than Holmgreen and Shanahan.. New York and Miami are bigger markets than SF not to mention primetime..
I'm more hooked on the idea we need to level up to Arians, Carroll and Fischer.. pound by pound Payton was the right man for the job.
so lets be honest bring on the old coaches let them do some foundation work.. settle for 3 years of 9-7 and 8-8.. and probably land a class A coach in 2020.

My God man. I want a proven offensive minded coach that is a proven winner. I'm sorry I just can't do Hue Jackson... Yea he had done a good job with Cinn but they haven't even won a playoff game. Shanny and Holmgreen are too old IMO shanny had bad relations with haynesworth and rg3. I'll admit though at least shannys team always run the ball well. That's seems to be our bread and butter. But this is a passing league now. With all the penalties the refs are begging you to pass deep. Sigh oh well what can you do.
