I wouldnt give up a 2nd round pick. Maybe a 5th this year and a conditional 2nd next year if we go to the playoffs.

hell yeah why wouldn't we, you guys act like a 2nd round pick has value around here with Baalke. I'd rather have a quarenteed offense over a uncertain draft pick.

I don't like the idea of giving up picks for coaches. Not sure what NO will say if Payton makes his mind up to leave and threatens to freewheel if they make him stay another year or ask too much compensation. We need that 2nd in '16. I wouldn't want to go any higher than a 4th this year and maybe a conditional 3rd-4th next year. Not sure I actually see why they should get anything, actually. They want him gone and he wants to go. That's the end of it.

If Sean Payton tells the Saints that he wants out, they'll take whatever compensation they can get from whatever team he wants to go to. I wouldnt offer them anything higher than a 3rd..if that.
