Hell no, that dude gets destroyed every game he plays. Behind our oline he wont make it out of his first game.

Without a line, it doesn't matter who the QB is.

They say he can't read defenses and has has somewhat of a god complex. Add the fact that he can't take hits. . . Big no from me

So basically replace Kaepernick with a more fragile, ultra douchier version of Kaepernick......good call.

Well whats your plan?
The options seem like this...
A) Retain Kaepernick for $17 mil
B) Draft a QB
C) Acquire a QB via free agency or trade
I'd say some combination of B and C. Draft a QB probably fairly high. Sign someone and allow the rook and the free agent to compete. We could sign a free agent and draft a rookie for half of that $17 million price tag.

Sam bradford is not a bad option. He is by far in the wrong offense for his skillset

hell no on RG3, worst than Kap.
I say we trade for Mettenberger right now. Let him learn the offense and if Kaep keeps regressing and our season is gone, we start Mettenberger and see if he has what it takes. Without the cocaine charge and ACL tear, Mettenberger would of been a 2nd rounder at the least.
If we wait til next year and are in line for Goff, pull the god damn trigger. The man is a Matt Ryan clone with a stronger arm.
If we arent in line for Goff, try for Brock Osweiler. I really liked what i saw from him in preseason. I made sure to watch his game to see if he really learned from peyton manning and he did. Very impressive footwork and pocket presence. Can make all the the throws. Broncos will probably try to retain him since this is manning's last year probably

I don't mind bringing in RGIII and having an open competition between him and Kap. I also hope we draft Cardale Jones. But I want Kap to enter next season as the starter, unless we can deal him for something valuable.

Spot on!! B+C. Find a decent free agent and let Jared Goff sit behind him.
