IF Aldon smith or anyone else answering that question with....well I plan on getting a couple DUIs, bomb threats, failed drugs tests etc after you draft me they would have never been drafted.

Everyone lies at interviews. An experienced interviewer knows that and looks beyond it.

If this was an isolated incident that is one thing, but its not. Players are pulling the wool over his eyes and thats not good.

There is a long list of idiots drafted by Baalke who fooled him good.

Yeah -- there is plenty to bust Baalke's balls about. But drafting Aldon Smith who had zero prior issues is not one of them.

Long list? Who else besides Smith,cully, and lynch have been in some sort of trouble that he drafted? He's drafted 70 players and and 2 of the 3 have no red flags prior and I still have no idea what lynch did as far as off field issues in college?

You think Baalke is all by his self during these interviews? They have something like 15 scouts and player personnel they must have fooled them all...they should have gotten an Oscar I guess.

Like I said plenty of other GMs like Ozzie and Colbert who's asses get kissed on here drafted players with issues as well.

I think his high school and college did a great job covering up some of his foolishness. The way he's conducted himself since being in the NFL makes it hard to believe this all magically started when he got to the NFL. I'm sure there are stories the Niners had to cover up we will never even hear about. But you just can't cover up this degree of stupidity.

I think most of the time these guys have issues that have been masked or excused. Once they get the money it just makes it worse and harder to control. He didn't need and NFL contract to afford weed and drink and drive too much. If he weren't rich and famous I think he would be having these same issues just on a much less public scale. I mean this video is just pure stupidity. A guy being a total dick thinking he's out smarting ppl. I have a feeling that's been his personality for a long time. And for years in high school and college he got away with it. But in the big boy league of the NFL this s**t isn't flying.

Neither got in any trouble and yes Ray wasn't drafted by Baalke.

The facts are every single GM in this league top to bottom drafted some bad eggs with no previous issues....

Every school covers up star players stupidity. Can you imagine if Baakle drafted Aaron Hernandez what this site would be like? But Baalke gets a lot more s**t than Belichick, because he has won consistently. Winning trumps all in this society.

Aldon was really green coming out of college and I'm not talking about his play on the field. Have a guy like that and surround him with guys like brooks and McDonald and here you go.
