Probably because he showed up to the team facility everyday with a lunch pail and thermos. That probably gave Jimmy T a tingling in his groin.

So in the 2014 season when the Patriots were getting their ass handed to them in the first few games, and the media were calling for Brady's retirement the Pats made changes and what they did was sit Devey. The result was they won the superbowl.
In the 2015 season we let Kap start every game behind this guy and only sat him after Kap was injured and the staff switched to Gabbert.
In the 2016 season we cut the guy before he even makes training camp.
Says a huge amount about last year's staff.

The sight of him at the first mini-camp was probably giving Kap PTSD.

Made zero sense trading for him. Would have been better off singing an OL from a div teams practice squad.

We traded the Pats Asante Cleveland for Devey. Cleveland logged 1 catch for 1 yard last year for the Pats before getting released. I think they got the better end of the deal.

This move has to increase our off-season grade by at least 20%
