Some of the film experts might be able to back me up on this, but the general consensus over the years has been that the 2000 Ravens' weakness on defense (if you can even say it was a weakness) was you could throw on them.
I think the 49ers offense could have stretched the field, and with quick passing, they could have neutralized the Ravens insane defensive line.
Qadry Ismail, Patrick Johnson and Brandon Stokely would have been fairly easy to contain. Which would've left the Ravens with Shannon Sharpe and Jamaal Lewis to create offense.
I think one wild card might have been Billick who came from the Walsh system (Dennis Green) but I'd take the 94 49ers in a narrow one, 20-13

.......in the preseason. Watters would score two on the ground and one through the air and put the game away.

They couldnt cover Rice, and Dion would shut down half the field with a safety down in the box with Stubblefield and Young in the middle. No Ravens offence would be throwing or running on this 49ers D.

Also ravens ha NO pass rush. They were first in points playing the browns and bengals and first against the run but had little sacks. That was where the niners excelled. Niners would of won by at least 2 scores

Obviously we all have a gigantic bias, but I agree that there is no way the Ravens would be able to score any points. It would be a little more fight than San Diego for the Niners offense to generate, but they would not be able to shut the Niners down forever. 24-3 Niners.

Niners had a bad-ass defense themselves, would hope Young/Rice/Watters would of been able to outscore Dilfer/Lewis/Ismael.

Still can't believe the Niners were at such a low, that they had to resort to signing Dilfer at QB at one point

What's worse, is that we signed/traded (I think we traded Ken Dorsey to the Browns for Dilfer) 7 years after that Super Bowl run he had in Baltimore lol

we would have methodically picked them apart with quick strikes and spread them out all 4 quarters ...there is no way in hell Dilfer would have found success against Davis, McDonald , Hanks and Sanders .....they might have kept it close for a couple quarters, but we would have eventually busted them up
