Lol. Yup and for how much? Is this also the reason why we haven't sign any big FA just to see if there is hope he decides to comeback the last minute? And if he decides to comeback and rework his contract, does it need to be done by tomorrow to avoid any penalties?

Not groundbreaking obviously, but teams being interested is at least a relevant tidbit. We have no $$$

Esp. two days later after trying to negotiate him down prior to FA.

He is expendable since we only need both.

lol love these kind of tweets. "This might happen, but it also might not happen. Stay tuned and retweet this."
I'm honestly totally indifferent about his situation. Arik Armstead is a really good defensive tackle, that's not disputed. He does have a history with injuries and his pay is way too high for what he brings. He's overpaid. I get the teams perspective and Arik's as well. If he wants to go then be gone. Onward. Forward.

we're going to find out soon where his value is at. If his salary is right he should draw interest from teams wanting to trade for him. I suspect the "interest" comes after he's been released and can be had for less.

It would be great to have him back along with what we just picked up on the D-line.

AA is a stud, thats why he got the big contract. He is just older, often injured, and expensive. Other than that the man can still ball and everyone knows that.
Social media has made it where we turn on our own guys as soon as the salary cap era implications come into play and they have to move on.

I also see posters asking for Bosa's brother who is often injured and expensive. So why would we turn on our own (AA) only to show love to a similar guy (JB) from the outside (Chargers)?

AA played in two SB's for us, Joey Bosa 0.

F*** Joey Bosa!

That some has increased since the word of his release.

I will admit I didn't like his contract or the fact that we kept him over Buckner, but the love to hate social media thing is sad.

We nominated him for man of the year 4 years straight
Good luck AA
Hope your feet and knees get better
AA kind of under achieved at Oregon. He was a 5 star recruit with massive size and athletic ability but for whatever reason he was nearly always outplayed by Buckner who wasn't considered nearly as good. I heard the line coach at Oregon say that Buckner just had a motor that AA didn't. Not saying he was terrible but he had the athletic gifts and size to be a really dominant player. The health issues certainly different help.
Thanks for being a good dude. Best of luck in the future and can't wait for this thread to move to a different sub forum.
