Jimmy Graham to be traded to Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks, just like how they copied the niners blueprint of great defense and running game, will now try to PASS MORE with a running qb and a great running game like the niners did. We had great weapons just didn't use them and when we tried to last year Kap kept getting sacked bc of the OL flux and injuries mainly.

Seattle lost a center and guard so if they try passing and try turning russel into more of a pocket passer.......same results will ensue. We all saw Wilson's great passing games in the playoffs hahahahaha.

Not sure the Hawks are going to pass more because they have Graham . . . . just, maybe, more effectively.

They will definitely will need to shore up the O-line (despite the fact they muddled through 10 games without Unger last season).

Yes, RW passed pretty well in that Carolina game, didn't he?

It's gonna be street ball with Wilson running around and the built-in scramble play will be to isolate Graham on the baseline 40 yards down the field in perfect post position. All he will need to do is screen his man and get the jump ball.

He did well against a Carolina team with a bad secondary and injured DL that took a huge step back. A lot of teams and qbs did well against Carolina......you do know they were what 7-8-1 I believe.

I don't know how smart posting that rw had a good game against a bad team and a bad defense, especially secondary but hey, if that's all you got, then that's all you got.

I never bragged or posted how kap completely owns GB and set records against that defense running and over 400 yards passing. They were a bad defense so no need to say much bc kap kicked major ass. And he does that to a lot teams including Seattle how he can take over a game and run for over 100 yards easily against teams with little help from the running game or his wrs.

I do think they will pass more due to strictly having graham.

Hardly "bragging" (wouldn't be my place to brag anyway, since I'm not on the field) merely pointing out that the sarcastic reference to RW's 'great passing games in the playoffs' was incorrect (as he did have a great passing game vs. CAR - oh, and that one his rookies season vs. ATL wasn't bad either). The quality of the opposing defense wasn't qualified. Despite Carolina's poor record, they had won five straight coming into the divisional game - their defense wasn't horrible (10th in yards/game) but, definitely not great (21st in points/game).

It will be interesting to see what (if anything) changes with the offense.
Hard to imagine a PC coached team straying far from what's worked pretty well to this point. But, we'll see . . . .

It's kinda funny that Wilson's two good games came against average defenses. Sorry by that's the truth. Atl was horrible and Carolina, your got to be kidding me? 21st in points without Star L???? But hey, as you said they won 5 in a row. Wow. Whatever makes it sound better I guess. They were 7-8-1 by the way and Atlantas defense......well.....they didn't have one. I hope you're noticing a pattern here bc it's pretty easy to see. I just don't know why it's so hard for fans to just call a spade a spade and admit that a player isn't as good as advertised or in RWs case, not even close. But oh well. I'm just glad I'm not in denial.
Russell Wilson is 2-9 in games that the opposing team scores 24+ pts.

Without that defense hes not a winner.

Think I heard the same stat that you used on NFL Live and it sounded pretty bad until I looked at how other QBs and other teams fared in the same situation.

Other notable quarterbacks in their first three seasons starting where opponents scored 24+.

Andrew Luck: 11-16 (27)
Drew Brees: 5-20 (25)
Peyton Manning: 5-19 (24)
Aaron Rodgers: 5-14 (19)
Tom Brady: 8-10 (18)
Joe Montana: 6-7 (13)
Russell Wilson: 2-9 (11)

Any of those other guys winners? Just a little perspective. Montana was 0-3 in 1985 using your criteria. Over his career he was amazing but you should provide some context.

Entire league from 2012-2014 were a combined 169-570, winning only 23.1% and the percentages get worse the further you go back dropping to 20.5% going back to 1984. This seems logical given the nature of today's offenses and the rules that benefit them, particularly in the passing game.

I think it's fair for you to say that Seattle was below the league average from 2012 to 2014 when teams score 24+ but clearly there aren't a bunch of guys with winning records in this scenario particularly in their first 3 years as a starter.

There are so many other things that could be more useful to evaluate a 4th year quarterback before trying to get that particular stat to tell you anything (again, imo).

The Seahawks now have a double threat in the red zone. Marshawn who is almost unstoppable and Graham who is a red zone night mare. Their offense as a whole won't change all that much. Although, I do remember Moeaki having a big game against the Niners and Luke Willson making several big plays during the season...So with the addition of an All Pro tight end, look out. That said, I hope he's a huge flop but it's highly unlikely.

what's kaps record?

I don't care what spin job they try and put on but, 2-9 is horrible. Especially, with a historical defense that will usually hold opponents to below 18 pts. The times that they need RW to do his job.......well, you get 2-9.

I'm sure Kap can't be that bad. I've seen him lead some high scoring shoot outs.

Interesting that Andrew Luck is 11-16
