Plus they are still paying dead money for Harvin next season. Not sure Wilson gets a new deal this offseason.

I can't imagine he will right? wouldn't they have to wait until next offseason? it looks like Lynch and Graham just took up the bulk of their cap space and they also signed Williams.
Seattle is being run as good as the Pats these days and they will continue to be a force. THey are losing defensive players but remain competitive. They are willing to make a gutsy trade like this Graham one to possibly be unstoppable.

Wilson
Lynch
Graham

Who needs a WR?

Just like the Washington Redskins!

Well not quite. In SEA defense (and i hate saying that), their big ticket moves have essentially paid off...and by paid off i mean they got a championship. They got a ring after landing Avril, Bennett and Harvin.

TBF, Harvin was a disaster and are still paying dead money? But they got REALLY lucky that all the pass rushers were on the market and they didn't have to pay much for them and had a hell of a rotation. The next year, they couldn't afford the depth and it cost them once they had injuries. This year will be no different...lost Malcolm Smith, Max Unger and Maxwell, etc. They are one year behind of our timeline. That 3rd and 4th year of long playoff runs eventually catches up to you. This is most likely their final year before they go full Saints re: cap hell. And they are going for it...
The Seahawks just put themselves back in the Superbowl for a third straight year.

All very true

No, they can extend him THIS year. Like we did with CK.

disagree. Bowman has proven to be better. Willis a better tacklers.

That's a debate but whos going to stop Lynch with Bowman on Graham?

Who's going to protect Wilson while he waits for Graham to get open/run his route?
Bad move IMO

You seem desperate to convince others and yourself that landing Jimmy Graham doesn't help the Seahawks.

Never said it didn't help, just wanted to point out they traded their best o-lineman on a horrible line for a offensive weapon.
You seem desperate to start an argument over a message board

He won't, they'll wait till 2016 after this trade happened.

Well the Graham signing definitely makes it harder in the NFC. I mean the Hawks already have a good QB, RB, and an elite D. Now they have an elite TE (if he stays healthy) who can make Baldwin (and their other WR's) even better.

Then the niners lose Gore, Willis, Crabtree, potentially Justin, Iaputi. Borland is good but he will not be able to cover Graham and they will exploit that match-up all day long.

IF they have zero injuries, they'll be very strong.

So essentially a low cap hit this year? But after this year the cap hit goes up significantly?
Our boy can cover him, Johnson.

If they stay healthy, they are easily the best team in the league again.
