McCoy is 26...He could easily have 4 more elite seasons in him. Its lose-lose, because Philly gave up the better player, and McCoy wont do anything in Buffalo.

There's got to be some illegal under the table type payoffs going down. Maybe even a Draft pick giveaway, money ,etc.

If not its the dumbest thing the eagles have done in awhile.

The value of the RB is going down. The fact that the Bills only gave up this much and no one in the NFL offered more speaks volumes.

Traded for Matt Cassel. He'll be good enough for Roman w/ Shady McCoy there. And Sammy Watkins

It'll be even more suspect if they really give up Foles too. Think if they were serious about Mariota, I woulda packaged McCoy in a deal for a higher pick if tht was the plan.
Maybe they have their eye on Spiller...he could be dangerous in Kelly's up-tempo offense. They're close to the same age...it might also have something to do with the comparative number of carries...Spiller has a lot less than Shady. I get the Eagles want to shore up their defense...but McCoy's been a real bell-cow for them. Kind of a head scratcher for me...unless they think Chris Polk's ready for prime time. Still, with McCoy leaving, they have 3 RB's on their roster: Polk, Kenjon Barner and Sproles. So, they're either going to sign a FA or draft a RB.

Couldn't have thought of a worse fit in a Greg Roman offense. He doesn't believe in throwing to RB's.

They got Cassell (if you can call that a QB ... lol).
they'll sign a guy like spiller and end up with kiko/spiller for shady or something like that. you cant judge this trade until you see what philly gets with the money they freed up

chances are slim of that happening.

I was thinking this as well.
But if we are being honest, I'm willing to bet that Ryan hired the guy because of a great "first-impression" interview.
Then when it came time to "show what you know", this happened, http://www.buffalorumblings.com/bills-news-notes/2015/1/27/7920947/buffalo-bills-greg-roman-offense-david-lee-sanjay-lal-passing-game
Aka, they hired someone else to take control of the passing game, because Roman can't.

I've said this many times, Roman is in over his head and I think he benefited from a tremendous offensive line while he was here. I don't think Ryan is going to let Roman call plays for McCoy lol. I would compare it to Shady being a puzzle for kids 10+, and Romans football knowledge is that of a 5 year old.
Won't work
