NFL on ESPN @ESPNNFL 2m2 minutes ago
By cutting Trent Cole, Cary Williams & trading LeSean McCoy, Eagles cleared $31.75M in cap space today. Alonso will count >$1M against cap

WTF. Well I guess that's one thing Roman does know, running the ball (or does he?)

Chip has no cares for Shady's price tag, and also his poor fantasy performance last year.
Didn't even care about getting a draft pick out of Buffalo

Meanwhile:
"While the Dallas Cowboys have been reported to be a (Adrian) Peterson favorite destination, the running back prefers five teams: the Arizona Cardinals, the Indianapolis Colts, the Cowboys, the San Diego Chargers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That said, even if Peterson requested a trade, the Vikings could refuse and simply pay him the $12.75 million in base salary he's due in the 2015 season"

wow!! i think eagles made a smart move. They freed up space, got a stud LB (although he is coming off a ACL injury so it is a bit risky), and will probably pick up one of the many good RBs on the market. Eagles hardly even utilized McCoy last year so this makes sense IMO.

i don't think they let the best RB in the NFL just walk away like that unless one of the teams are ready to give up a 1st and more

Would Spiller be a good fit/pairing with Hyde? I assume he would come cheap with all the rb's in free agency and the draft.

They got the D, got the WR, got the RB, now they just need a QB.
Without a first round pick I don't think it would be possible for them.

I think he would. But we can get a cheaper option in a deep RB draft.
