Greg Roman signs with bills

NEWS - 49ers secretly employed a tutor (offensive consultant) for Roman. So the offensive staff was even BIGGER than officially listed and the offense still stunk. Good riddance Roman.

(Side note - If Roman is great for the Bills I'll eat crow and have to acknowledge JH was holding the offense back, not Roman.)

Funny, part of me hopes he does very well, especially at getting the call in before the five second mark. That way, I'll have more ammunition to shoot down the "Harbaugh was so great" arguments.

However, I don't know how Roman will overcome his predictable formation sets and un-imaginative (and that's putting a positive spin on it) passing attack.

I think he'll make it one and a half to two years with the Bills and be MOVED on to his next gig.

Revisionist history already in effect. Colin already said he audibles the play to a pass to crabtree because he "owed him". We'll probably never know what the play call was...but it wasn't what was done.

It was probably Roman AND Harbaugh holding the offense back.

i can't even remember who the starting qb for bills is but he is definitely worse than kap

I have a feeling the starting QB will be Sanchez... unless Philadelphia plans on parting ways with Foles.

Either way, most people are predicting a train wreak (with their talent alone). Maybe they brought Roman in to be replaced down the road.

So if they have a crazy good run game, then Roman deserves a little credit. However, if their passing game is really good, he literally deserves NONE of the credit because he has nothing to do with it. It's likely that both will suck anyway.

He's got to be the only "coordinator" in the league who isn't even in charge of the offense. LOL why the hell do they even need him? Do they think his run designs are so good that they absolutely had to get him for that reason only? If so, they haven't watched the 49ers offense after 2011, because his run designs have been average to below average ever since.

What a complete failure. Dude is basically a low level assistant with a false coordinator title.
