On a positive note, he'll be cheaper in FA. Maybe Baalke could work out another trade... for boone or something. They want that big bad running game and everything.

Love that he is going to take Solari with him--we need a better offensive line coach.
Fantasy gold for opposing defenses. My condolences Boobie.

Boone for Watkins straight up would make me than
If their offense is effective and versatile will the total blame for our crap performance fall on JH??

Was exactly thinking this. In any case, JH gets the blame either for leaving an inept OC in charge or being inept and hardheaded himself.

He won't be spectacular by any means, but he won't be the piece of s**t we know him as

He has the talent in Buffalo to do it. I will not be surprised if he's successful with the bills.

Yeah, because there wasn't ANY talent on the 49ers,,,,,,,,,
Breaking News: Greg Roman excited to work with Ej Manuel. Believes Manuels skills are ahead of schedule for Delay of Game Offense.
It will be interesting to see how he does in Buffalo.

If, as I suspect is the case, that Roman was little more than a mouthpiece for Jim Harbaugh, what he does in Buffalo may be very different from what he did with the 49ers. If nothing else, I would expect anybody with more than 3 brain cells working to learn from their mistakes in SF and correct a lot of those obvious mistakes.

I remain convinced that the offense Roman ran was at least designed by Harbaugh and the general tenor of the play selection and sequencing as well. Had this not been the case, Harbaugh would have thrown Roman under the bus after the 2013 season.

Not trying to defend Roman here, just stating where I feel 90% of the blame for the offensive failures of the last two season lay.

1. Harbaugh wanted the convoluted play call process. I'll get plays in to the QB in less than 5 seconds
2. Kap sucks
3. My run designs are better than anyone

1. I don't doubt that one bit.

2. Perhaps the language is a bit strong but the overall is correct.

3. They were pretty darn good, however, since we couldn't pass the ball, the defense just loaded the box and no run plays would have worked. He will have some work to do with Manuel but perhaps he learned enough from Kaepernick's struggles that he will know how to truly help Manuel. Just saying...

my thoughts exactly,, we had much better talent than the bills.

Sammy Watkins is the perfect fit for his offense. Roman needs a legit threat down field backing up the safeties. You bring the safeties up to stop the run which they will feed off and you're toast. Need a QB tho. Who knows what they have in Manuel.

It's a great fit for Roman with the Bills personal & rushing game and Rex will let him be. Win-win for everyone.
