Marrone isn't getting the axe. The Bills finished with a +.500 record for the first time since 2004 and did it with Kyle Orton...If anything the GM will get the axe for drafting EJ Manuel because they've clearly given up on him already.

Frankly, Philbin is more likely to get fired than Marrone is.
Hate to say it but.....
Told u so.. whether fired or just said f**k this, Marrone is gone

I laughed when I read the news because I remembered this thread but while you're right, you're kidding yourself if you actually thought Marrone would opt out.

IMO Woody Johnson went jumped the shark with the tampering this week and reached out to Marrone about the Jets opening and convinced him to change zip codes.

he had a timeline within days of the season ending to accept a 4 mil buy out if they had changed owners. he took advantage of that.

Power jockeys in Bills front office spoke ill of Polian in Marrone's presence. Marrone told Polian on way out. Polian told Pegula yesterday.

How the hell do you go from being a pro OC to a college OC. And people thought that Colin regressed.

Ryan to Buffalo. That Bills D is going to be hellacious. If only they can get a decent QB. I think Atlanta made a big mistake not hiring Ryan.

Yeah I'm glad we didn't hire him but I think he would've been a great fit in Atlanta, since they already have a good offense with at least a borderline franchise QB.
The Denver Broncos and coach John Fox have mutually agreed to part ways.

"I had a productive visit with John Elway this afternoon in which we were both very honest about our time together and how to best move forward," Fox said in a statement. "After this discussion, John and I mutually agreed that the timing was right for this decision."

The decision was made just hours after Fox had met with the Broncos' players to cover the end-of-the-season business.

It seems like the parting of Fox from the Broncos is very similar to the parting of Harbaugh from the 49ers, but I don't see as much of a backlash over the Fox firing....

Their success is pretty much the same and they both had mutual partings. Actually Fox had a better year this year than Harbaugh.

Just weird.

Paves the way for Gase to stay in Denver I bet. That may be why Elway wanted to move Fox out because he was worried about losing one of the most souaght ofter HC candidates out there. Might be enough to keep noodle arm around for one more year too.
Dick LeBeau likely to end up in Arizona with Bruce Arians once Todd Bowles takes a job.

Bowles to ATL makes the most sense
