Started in the photoshop thread. This pic was created by a photoshopper
Then i think Garcia followed it up with a pic of a reporter interviewing alex, but replaced the mic with a corn dog.
Then it just blew up from there.

Phil had like 4 arms (two of them were black, two were white), smoked a lot, and wore a leather jacket. Those were the days... we sucked so much that we relied upon imagination/comedy (primarily the Photoshop thread) to get through some of those darkest of years. This was pretty cool considering the forum was somewhat hardcore at that time about posting 50,000 animated gifs to get a point across.
