Ray Rice is finished.
The 2nd is too high IMO. Maybe 1 season. Lifetime is too much. Some of these gold digger girls will make this stuff up to pressure a settlement. This gives a lot of power to people who don't necessarily have good intentions. For real domestic abuse yeah it's terrible and should not be accepted. This just opens the door to gold diggers IMO. Unintended consequences.

Lifetime ban for 2 offenses is a little ridiculous im all for a harsher punishment but that is bs, i could see 1 offense 6 games, 2 offenses a year. A lifetime ban just seems somewhat irrational how do u go from two games to potentially being banned for life? Seems like a kneejerk reaction somewhat.

Lifetime ban for two offenses, serious stuff. If the NFL is taking this seriously, (as they should), how does Rice walk away with two games.

If I'm an NFL player I'm gettin chicks to sign a contract before we even start talking. Gotta have a lawyer in the crew now.

your argument is invalrod. Would be like you having sex with your girlfriend after she turns 18 then the next day a law is passed saying minors dont become adults until they're 20 and you get thrown in jail for statutory.
Totally agree they didn't have a policy in place until Ray Rice issue but now the players know the consequence imo it shouldn't be the NFL issue our judicial system as a government is a joke
