Cool. I'm glad everyone here was convinced that not bringing in a safety during FA was fine. I'm glad we thought that sticking with a safety as injury prone as a Bosa was a good idea.

Really? Stop it. I think it's a,safe bet that Ward was the one guy the WZ had consensus on in terms of being AGAINST. I don't remember one person being comfortablewith this. I don't ever root against the Niners, but sadly they deserbed this.

Agreed as well. Stats proved Moore played better at Safety. This is easy decision for ShannyLynch to make.

Why is everyone making a big deal about Ward??? Coaches always say how much they love him, but I've always felt going into our season...he wasn't going to be starting anyway.

Tartt at SS

Sherm, Spoon, and Verrett taking up CBs.

And Ward if health, at nickle. With Reed and Williams stepping in, or out playing him.

Ward played well at CB, after being s**tty at Safety.... and I expect him to be s**tty if moved back to Safety...if not injure himself trying to tackle someone head on.

Unbelievable! This guy is made of glass! It's just practice man, you gotta be able to practice and not get hurt.

If things go reasonably well, he should be ready to play football again at near full bore about the time the season starts or shortly after. I hope he recovers well and contributes a noticeable amount to the team when he comes back. But he's going to absolutely have to ball out when he does come back till the end of the year or there just isn't good enough reason to keep him on the team. Nice guy, but the evidence is getting fairly compelling that he just doesn't have a rugged enough body for professional football.

Just not a lot of depth at all for FS.
And tartt is usually out with injuries also.

Not only did We have the money to bring in someone, but there were tons of guys in free agency & in the draft, and the FO didn't do s**t, and paid this dude again and he's out again.
Pretty tiresome scenario.
