Are you joking!! After all the picks your beloved Baalke has used on corner and now you want to pick up a FA and draft another one! WTF?!!!

My beloved baalke lol...give it a rest! We have 10 picks next yr and I have ZERO problem with investing one of them on a DB and why wouldn't we want bouye? this is about making the team better, no?

We will be losing Brock who's a starter and this is all about moving Ward to safety...how about you read it first before you flip out, makes you look a little silly.

It actually makes you look completely silly (or Baalke, I suppose) suggesting we need to go get more CBs with all of our other needs and with how many we have drafted recently.

Lol. Y'all still not listening to him... sheesh, the man is talking about cutting Bethea, Reid taking over at SS and Ward to FS which would POSSIBLY put a hole at CB.

I personally wanna keep Ward at CB cause I think by the end of the year we can possibly feel really good about containing his guy one on one going forward on an every week basis.

No, I am listening, and that hole should be able to be filled with all the other CBs we have drafted and exist on the roster (Robinson, Redmond, Reaser, Johnson, etc.).

And there IS a chance we can slide Ward to FS and roll with the CBs you mentioned along with Chris Davis...but that depends on how the staff feels if one of those CBs other than Robinson can handle the full time outside role.

This is more about you hating Baalke I feel like doe trying to take the approach of even if Ward does move to safety, someone should be able to take the job outside for Ward and be as good as Ward in that spot from day one.

If Ward does go back to safety please believe the smart thing to do would be signing another corner(especially with the money wed save for cutting Bethea and possibly Brock) or at worst another one to develope. Can never have enough corners in today's NFL.

Did you not notice our CBs getting hurt, as in several?...I'm done here, not trying to have a pointless discussion after I've said what I have. Someone else take over for me if you have to please.

Why not? because we drafted a bunch of late rd CBs? You need good corners in this league go look at the Panthers right now, they thought they could get away with playing sub-par players at the CB position and they are 3-6.

There's a ton of very good CBs in this draft that could push our 2nd tier guys and hopefully Brock off this team and hell ya bring in a FA

How about we make this team better

Redmond is a slot CB NOT a outside press man you want Reaser as our starting outside CB??? Johnson IMO should be given more snaps but for some reason isn't and he will be a FA after 2017. WHO DO THAT LEAVE US WITH?

CB is a position that you should draft every yr because you need so many in this pass happy league. AND yes this is if we most Ward to safety.

Redmond can play outside too and will be in contention to start there with his instincts also being great at reading and reacting on a jiffy. The slot role was gonna be this year but Chris Davis,Reaser caused him to be put on PUP and with the season were having we decided to keep on the IR.

Redmond is best inside covering those shifty WRs...that's where we drafted him to play.

We need another outside CB to replace Brock and that can be found in the draft or FA if they ever moved Ward to safety

Yup, you're both right. Redmond can play outside but his skill set (quick-twitch and ability to flip his hips quickly) make him ideal for the slot position. That could be a fun group next year with Robinson + ? outside, Redmond in the slot and Tartt + Ward at S...extra DB's like Reaser, Johnson & Cromartie. Something to build on.

This draft is stocked with very good CBs plus we can always go the FA route as well...Brock needs to be upgraded.

Exactly. We need a better vet CB that can help these young guys come along. Brock isn't it.

Yeah, you're right! I guess another few in the first or second round wouldn't hurt! Great idea.

No question.
What's the deal with Robinson dam! Still concussed? I'm glad he didn't play last week vs the cards bc if that were the case we would of won.

Never mind it's his knee

Yea its funny how we can say he had a good game, and in the same breath say he had a crappy one. He made some deflections, played hard, but also gave up a pass interference, 2 holding calls, all for first downs, also the game clinching completion to Fitz

I'd rather he play aggressive and get a few penalties, because what eventually happens is the aggressive corners get a rep for solid play, then they start getting refs to allow them to get away with things that CBs without that rep don't get away with.

Yes keep racking up penalties and getting beat TDs. Great pick he's so awesome.

One of his PB's was in the endzone where he made a great play to prevent a touchdown so he also saved us points too... that pass interference call on him was BS also.

It's his first season playing CB gonna expect some PI calls...I'm glad he's playing aggressive. Still think he could be a pro bowl FS.
