True but at the same time a lot of folks loved the move to Acker and nobody should be questioning Robinson and Ward being ahead of him. Now Brock and Reaser are a different story. I think we will see DJ either growing into a starter of becoming a back up for another team.

SEA is able to shut the deep ball down, especially the middle because of Earl Thomas' range. I seriously think Ward could have that type of range.

Fitz is one of the best in the game, even at his age. Ward held him to 52 yards. That's phenomenal. Everyone just sees the numbers Fitz ended with and assumes that was all on Ward but it wasn't. Not even half was against Ward

Yah 52 yards plus about 4 penalties.

and 4 pass breakups...

4 breakups is good!

If he played for the cawkSuckers he would've committed 6 penalties but only called for one...

I just don't see how the coaches can justify having Bethea and Brock on the field. If it is because Tartt may not know the defense, well Bethea lack of ability to finish tackles is horrendous and it doesn't even matter if he is in position.

This I think Ward is actually playing well for never playing on the outside...he should be a FS ball hawking the field.

Brock will be gone (he's had his highs and lows currently 18th ranked CB) I do think we need a bigger CB opposite of Robinson next yr I'd go after someone in FA like bouye. There are a ton of really good DBs in the draft as well.

Also, I'm inclined to keep Ward at CB. I think he is proving that he has the skill set to be a really good player there and finding another S will be easier than finding a shutdown CB.

Ehh he was Jim Thorpe finalist as a safety, he has the speed and instincts to be a ball hawk FS IMO. That's why I'd prefer to keep him at his natural position and sign someone like Bouye who's playing lights out and is a tall press man corner....take that cash from Brock and give it to him, major upgrade.

Plus draft someone with one of those 10 picks this is a deep draft a DB.

Lol. Y'all still not listening to him... sheesh, the man is talking about cutting Bethea, Reid taking over at SS and Ward to FS which would POSSIBLY put a hole at CB.

I personally wanna keep Ward at CB cause I think by the end of the year we can possibly feel really good about containing his guy one on one going forward on an every week basis.
