I honestly think the 49ers were going to give him a deal until they saw what Tramaine Brock could do.
Brock straight up stole Brown's money. Good for the Niners though. Brock is better and younger. Its good that Culliver got hurt, because we might never have given Brock a shot otherwise.

naw we can't match that offer, we still have carlos on the books tell june first. So pretty much were not getting anyone unless it's vet min or some really loaded backend deal.

I fully expected him to walk unfortunately, but I think we're better off with Brock since his emergence.

This is B.S.!!!!!!!!!!! 3.5 million yet they had 2 million in guaranteed money for Gabbert who will never see the field they let one of the best corners on the team and a important part of the team go over 3 million I'm really pissed off now.

Unfortunately, we probably have to wait till June 1st for Kap's extension. Until then, we have to continue to hear how horrible he is at "passing attempts".

There's more money in the 49ers offer so why does a DB take less for a one year deal. He's coming up on the wrong side of 30 and even if he has an outstanding year the market will be the same or less. If the Niners wanted him they would have made good on the off season bonus. Curiously, they still g ave him 300 grand at seasons end. Not enough love.

He is going to have to face an angry Peyton Manning and other pass happy quarterbacks. He is going to look really bad on that team. He should have stayed with us.

Money never mattered. Every 9er beat guy reported we overed TB a 3 year $10M deal which is basically the same average. The only catch was the 9ers want Cully and Brock starting next season, TB would have to be the slot guy.
TB wants to continue to play outside and make more money than either deal. Best chance is to take a 1 year prove it deal with a team with a ton of cap space that may reward him with an extension midseason if he does well enough.
