Fantastic. You just made my case for the 49er fanbase to stop all this nonsensical steroid yapping. Follow me here, Boast... So it's true that leaked results are taken as general fact (to everyone except for 49er fans, you being an intelligent exception) Then your point followed to its conclusion: Seahawk players testing positive for adderall were guilty of exactly what the leaked result was... adderall.
f**k man, I can't stand delusional football fans. Look, every team, including the Niners, have guys on roids. This is the f**king NFL, not chess. If any Chicken fans think Sherman and co. were only an adderall they are delusional dumbf**ks. I've talked to logical Chicken fans who don't paint their face green and think they're part of the team. They know he was on roids. Give me a f**king break.

These newer Seachicken fans are idiots.

You lead the league in PED violations and penalties. SEA cheats like none other. A PED is a PED and you and your fan base continue to live in denial and make excuses for your cheating franchise. Enjoy your super bowl birth with an asterisk.

BTW, don't you have to go join the 12th hemorrhoid throwing rotten tomatoes at paralyzed veterans?

Seriously, why all the cursing? I actually thought that roids-taking was heavily monitored, even more so during the season, and testing usually catches those who try to circumvent. Unless somehow you're privy to information about a prevalent underground roid epidemic somehow? I'm sure some do roids, and maybe a few get away with it. But YOU are delusional if you think roids is the biggest culprit in testing positive. Adderall along with other popular Psycho stimulant and non-stimulant drugs are. Performance enhancer?... possibly. But that's a discussion for the medical and legal experts.

"For starters, it's not so much "steroids" that are the issue anymore. Substances such as synthetic testosterone, while still being used, have dropped in popularity among players that will do anything to gain a competitive edge. The reason is really quite simple. Those drugs can be tested for, and it's infinitely easier to get caught using them."
-Googled it and picked the first of hundreds of current findings quoted above.

And I don't have any issues with newer female 49er fans.

That's not illegal and not even being tested. What is your point Boast? I thought 49er fans whine and profess that Seahawks are roid-ers and that they cheat to win. smh...Thank you again, for further strengthening my point. Seahawks are not roid-heads..

I'm late to the party but just an FYI from the Seattle Times article a year ago: http://seattletimes.com/html/seahawks/2019776708_adderall28.html

The NFL, by virtue of a confidentiality provision in its contract with the NFL union, never discloses the substance involved in a violation. That has led to suspicions that in some instances, players or their representatives claim Adderall use because there is less stigma attached to an amphetamine with an acknowledged medical purpose than to other banned substances, such as anabolic steroids

Basically, Adderall is in the same category as roids but PR guys leak this info b/c it has less of a negative perception. That said, there have been some MD's in this board who also state athletes not only take roids but Adderall as well b/c it helps speed up the system, breaks down the "evidence" and flushes the system out quicker for the decreased likelihood an athlete gets caught when tested by the NFL.

The NFL also does their part as well by spreading these testings, fines and suspensions out (including the built-in appeal process itself coupled with "technicalities") IMHO so as not to hurt the "product on the field"...esp. around playoff times.

$$$$$$ and lies and hypocrisy. It's the NFL!

When Sherman can run toe-to-toe with VD and roid-rages every other day in the media, you may want to at least raise a red flag even if he is one hell of a player on your team...esp. in this day and age (cough, Lance Armstrong, cough).

Drug suspensions: 49ers and Seahawks on opposite ends of the spectrum since Seattle hired Carroll--
When Bruce Irvin was suspended four games for a positive drug test, it wasn't particularly surprising. That's because the Seattle Seahawks are fast becoming known as the druggiest team in football, at least since Pete Carroll showed up. This isn't the first time a Carroll-coached team has been linked to performance enhancers. As ESPN's Mike Sando noted, drug rumors followed Carroll's former players into the NFL Draft back when he coached at USC.

Carroll and the NFL denied a 2009 report linking former USC players to positive steroid tests. One of the players named in that disputed report, Brian Cushing, later served a four-game NFL suspension for violating the policy on anabolic steroids and related substances.

I understand being a homer and looking past poor sportsmanship. Every team does have a guy or two who celebrates excessively. Your whole team, however, is full of them, and that's just the beginning. Add in the penalties, the suspensions, the gimmicky 12th fan douchery, the thuggish behavior. Pretty trashy overall...kinda like the Raiders.

Yep! Good to know your reading and comprehension skills are working well. But seriously, I never addressed any of his beligerent points in a defensive manner, nor am I in denial. I can say that the Seahawks are not fluffy. They are not easily embraceable for many fans of other NFL teams who watch way too much Lifetime Network and cooking shows. They ain't gonna change, sorry to say. And even more, they will probably only get tougher. "We got some dawgs", as Marshawn Lynch said today at media day. Just saying, it's football and the Hawks scrap, battle, and fight. They constantly test the boundaries. They are not for you, I get it. They are not for most football fans nowadays in this overprotective and hypersensitive mantra that everybody else wants these warriors to fit into.

Your posts have no substance to them. We are talking about cheating and playing dirty, and you respond with "yeah we're tough. we'll get tougher. dawgs. 12s. hypersensitivity. scrap, battle, and fight."

There is an obvious disconnect in your logic. It's called homerism.

You can always tell when you're talking to a pre-2012 Seahawk fan vs. a post-2012 Seahawk "fan." These f**kers came out of the woodwork up here and know jack s**t about the game.

Does profanity hurt your ears? I thought it was everyone else who was hypersensitive and had been watching too much Say Yes to the Dress. Go back to your lattes and your happylights dude. You don't belong here.

Yeah I find it really odd that Sherman somehow got dramatically faster over the last two years. Somehow he runs with VD and in our regular season win over them, he out ran Earl Thomas to tackle Frank Gore on the 51 yard run. No way this dude naturally got as fast as Thomas and VD. Maybe it was just those particular plays, but Sherman sure use to be kind of slow. Now I don't know if there is stuff that helps you become faster, but I know there is stuff that helps you recover a lot faster which will affect your speed as the season goes on. When dude that ran a 4.54 is suddenly running with 4.3 guys, something is up.
