I feel that is was the media that has encouraged and promoted for $$ sake. I guess somebody has to be the bad guy.

4. Seahawks ticket limit: -news story- "Broncos, Seahawks set geographic limits for conference championship ticket sales." Well if you read about this, then you understand. But I'm sure most only hear whatever limited info helps perpetuate their own bias.

5. Fans thowing stuff at injured guys: I did see popcorn. I read that it was one fan (classless in my opinion). Actually, the Seahawks' fanbase is especially appalled, hence our show of support and funds raised for his cause. Regardless, the "one bad apple" saying applies here, unfortunately.

Finally, to address your last sentiment: They are an NFC Championship franchise, it's a fact... and No, you cannot fornicate with them.

the league cant release what substance got the positive test. you're basically left to trusting the player who already was proven a cheater. take their word with a grain of salt.

as far as sherman goes, this is not a 1 off with the post game rant. "i'm better at life than you"....."half the league is on adderall".....beating a drug test off of a technicality......we understand why you guys cheers for him, you're the has beens that never were and he has brought you exposure. lets not act like like 1 post game rant for 30 seconds is why he is viewed as the face of your franchise. he is viewed as that because your qb takes 300 words to basically say nothing and this guy takes 5 words to insult everyone.

I'm okay with having low-key, humble guy as the FACE of the Seahawks. Yes, he certainly is redundant.. But so what.. Really,,, what's your beef with that? You basically just said, "everything people say to denigrate the Seahawks is true, but if I apply some gloss, it doesn't seem AS bad."

I understand being a homer and looking past poor sportsmanship. Every team does have a guy or two who celebrates excessively. Your whole team, however, is full of them, and that's just the beginning. Add in the penalties, the suspensions, the gimmicky 12th fan douchery, the thuggish behavior. Pretty trashy overall...kinda like the Raiders.

You're the only Seahawk fan saying that. Everyone else here in Seattle has an unbridled hatred for Kap because he wears a flatbill or collects shoes or doesn't blather incessantly about the separation being in the masturbation or whatever. The amount of bitter hatred for Kap is downright unhealthy, especially for someone who has never actually DONE anything to warrant it. Talk about ignorance...

No!!! they are not more physical then the 49ers ,,for that fact they are a mirrored image of the 9ers. Seattle could not even be original in the design of their team…be it they do have some good to great players on their team but (and I'm not making excuses ) the 9ers were riddled with injuries all season in many key positions and still had a 12-4 record I'm tired of hearing about Peds, Sherman , defensive cheaters, penalties blah blah blah,even with all that the Seahawks are,, the 49ers can whip they're azzes at anytime and anywhere, while they take they're peds, cheat ,try to copy, us have some good players, ect… the niners are the better overall team and have way more heart which can't be measured . And yeah I'm for sure biassed but the truth is what the truth is!!! And truth be said the 49ers beat themselves in the NFCC game take those few self inflicted dumb plays out of the game, just those plays alone and the 9ers are in the SB..

no, you were saying sherman is the face of franchise right now in lieu of his post game rant. the truth is he is the face of the franchise because of how loud he is all the time. that post game rant fits the profile of who he has been the previous 3 years, dating back to his fist nfl start where he said aj green wasnt anything special. if your qb actually said something of substance with the words he uses in pressers and interviews then maybe it would over shadow sherman a bit. since he is bland and kind of boring in that regard, sherman is the face of the franchise whether you guys like it or not. he is the perfect image of that team.

Yep! Good to know your reading and comprehension skills are working well. But seriously, I never addressed any of his beligerent points in a defensive manner, nor am I in denial. I can say that the Seahawks are not fluffy. They are not easily embraceable for many fans of other NFL teams who watch way too much Lifetime Network and cooking shows. They ain't gonna change, sorry to say. And even more, they will probably only get tougher. "We got some dawgs", as Marshawn Lynch said today at media day. Just saying, it's football and the Hawks scrap, battle, and fight. They constantly test the boundaries. They are not for you, I get it. I see what I did there. I did take my response in a different direction just so I could make a new point (not completely relevant to the poster's remarks) about Russell Wilson being a Professional Player and not a Media spokesperson. -will be staying on target in the future on this site. :)

I remember Brian Cushing's suspension for specifically anabolic steroids. I'm not the expert in the league's test results reporting procedures by any stretch. Are you?

They run a 4-3. Against a power run team, this formation does well. Getting to this a bit late,

The 49ers kinda run a 4-3; they just stand up AS, CL, AB, or DS. All of the 49ers' OLB's would be a tad light as DE's in a 4-3 but not too under weight. I don't have the size stats in front of me but I'd imagine Brooks would be the most out of place as a DE; however he was a HUGE ILB at Virginia.

The issue with the 49ers 3-4 is formation adjustments (that I've noticed) and the lack of rotation over time; though they are getting better at it. If opposing teams can "move" the OLB by having the TE line up a little farther away from the OT, they lose stoutness on the interior. You also have to take into account that OLB, unless they are told, don't immediately rush into the OL. This hesitation also hurts regarding inside runs.

All this being said, you must also look at the opponents. ML is really good, if the 49ers allow Seattle to remain comfortable with the run, he's going to get yards later in the game; think Gore two years ago.

Fact is, Seattle is very good and match up very well with the 49ers; both in talent and coaching. I watched Pete Carroll take a Paul Hacket team to the Orange Bowl and dominate, he knows what he's doing. This team is designed to beat the 49ers. Think Carolina back in the day.

Now, a couple of things will crate some interesting changes next year. Tank and Lattimore are coming off injury, Keap now has real material to base adjustments, and Roman will have some reflective cause to adjust the offensive approach. With Tank, the 49ers can actually move to a 4-3 on the fly if required. Lattimore (healthy) may be that inside runner to compliment Gore. Keap won't be going into the off season thinking what he's doing is working and doesn't need adjusting. And Roman, will most likely re-evaluate the talent and adjust the philosophy.

his results were leaked. they were not officially released by the NFL.
