The strange thing is that both times I've been in their stadium as a visiting fan (both losses

), I haven't had anything but nice experiences, both in the stands and the the city in general. Sure, they talked smack like all fans do, but it was friendly and good natured. I like the city too, but then again as a foreigner I tend to like all US cities I visit. I also have a lot of respect for the team, which is the way I like them - tough defence and running the ball.
The worst thing I can say about Seattle fans is that this whole "we're the great rivals of the 49ers" is a bit sad, like some creepy nerd slobbering after a hot girl. You have to earn being a rival, and two regular season wins (or even a decade of being better than us during the wilderness years) won't do it. Our rivals have always been the Cowboys

, the Packers and the Giants, teams that have cost us multiple championships (Baltimore has to play us more regularly to do the same). I dislike the old NFC West teams like Atlanta and NO more than Seattle. Get over this "rivalry" BS. Resent Pittsburgh if you must, since they (and the zebras) cost you a championship.
