He is easily worth a 1st rounder. I have been saying this for weeks. Anyone that thought he would be moved for anything less where seriously under estimating Gordons talent. His teammates want him there, and so do the fans.

Our problem is that we aren't trying to acquire players, we're trying to acquire picks for players that WILL be cut soon. No team will bite, we'd have to be a bit preemptive and trade players like Dixon and Nnamdi for a WR then trade Baldwin a late round pick.
We telegraphed our approach by waiting until deadline day to try and move the fringe players.

Gordon is a more valuable player than Trent will ever be.

man he worth a 1st, what do we got to lose, we just wasted a first on AJ Jenkins, why not waste another on a proven guy? who is cheap and under contract.

I would be content with throwing away a 2nd but a 1st is asking a little too much. I know he is a talented dude but he is an aldon smith type event away from having a year long suspension. Not worth it.
