old players like boldin , no matter how much we love them, can retard the development of young players. decisions are made in part on dollars and they are also made on what is best for the team, depending on what type of a team they are, moving forward.. and overall i think the niners have bigger fish to fry than signing boldin. i would be more willing to find the right type of guy in the draft that can catch, is strong and maybe can also return punts before i bring back boldin on a one year deal

CC you and I dont often see eye to, but we do on this mater.

thanks bud.. i do like boldin but , well you know how i feel. if they do reach out and bring him back, of course I will not get all pissed off, i just am very excited to see the young kids compete, smith is busting it in the off season and I feel he can be a good vet to the kids that we all know boldin would be. I understand i am nuts and do not make much sense . in this thread i am against bringing back boldin but in another thread i am banging the drum for the team to take a chance on kendall hunter. WTF?

now you know how the colts felt when they saw johnny unitas in charger blue.. or jets fans when they saw namath in ram yellow. or steelers fans felt when they saw franco in seattle colors .,. well there is a long list of guys who stayed to long and then they were an embarrassment . oj , roger craig, tony doresett, chuck foreman, willie mays. one of the reasons i was ok in letting gore go.. i did not want to see him stumble around in a niner uniform like craig did for us

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
His 1st of free agency RT @MikeJonesWaPo: Redskins are hosting Anquan Boldin for a visit today, two sources tell @MasterTes and me.
He was a good player for us
Great pick up by Trent. Probably one of the best values for a sixth rounder maybe in the recent history of football

Shhh... Pointing out good things Baalke has done is not appreciated in these parts. Or if you do, you have to give the credit to Harbaugh for some reason

You could right? It could have been a harbs to harbs negotiation.
