Who's Hicks?
If the 9ers trade for Nicks and Crabtree and Manningham both come back healthy then the 9ers would go into the playoffs (hopefully) with the best receiving group in the NFC, and would be the only team with a receiving group that can match Denver's.
If they trade for Nicks and Crabtree and/or Manningham don't come back (or aren't 100%), then Nicks would be even more vital to the 9ers.
Either way, I think trading for him is a good move if this team wants to win in the post season.
