He never wanted to be a Niner in the first place. Saw the writing on the wall when he wore the blue cleats.....
Overrated possession type of receiver in my opinion....

good, mr non clutch
yep,... Like Roman, addition through subtraction.
I get he's not a true #1WR, but this crap about him being a prima dona is BS
he is not clutch
he lets people like sherman get into his head
good riddance
right, no one is doubting that he under-performed.
And Sherman has gotten into a ton of WR's heads, not just Crabs.
He is alot like Bowe from KC. Good #2 WR who wants #1 $$$

Crabtree's..career...may...have..been...one....of....the...worst...disappointments...that...I...can...remember.
...Full..of...flashes, but never quite brearking out.

Shame of it is, pre injury he was a perfect WCO or air raid type of WR. Had crabs been in SF anytime from '79-'02 he would have been a yearly 80-90 catch 1100-1300 yard type of receiver.

I sure as hell wont miss the Diva i am trying to remember his defining moment with us n i just can't think of any.
If anything i recall plays that cost us a chance to become Champions. Not saying it was all his fault but he was part of it.

Its been a kind of a JJ Stokes of a career. Not a bust, but not up to expectations

the first mistake was to have it boil down to that play in the first place in the super bowl ,,, roman/jh
the second mistake is to target crabs in a clutch moment in a big game(s) ... roman/jh
oh and in the super bowl it was a non catchable ball in my opinion so plenty of blame to go all around but it starts with ,, it never should have come down to that play after little james got two yards,,,,,, ahh never mind

stokes caught 63 balls for us one year in a year he had rice and owens which helped him , that was his high water mark of his niner career. he would make a great leaping out catch and then the next time,, young would be screaming at him to catch the ball
not a bad career but you are right, not worth what we gave up

Two firsts. Holy crap. Imagine the Romper Room if that happened today! They would be paying organised crime to put a hit on him
