Now day 2 and 3 we might gain significant movement with a player of his talents but day 1 I didn't expect to get much mileage moving Boone

Boone plus the 9ers first to move up to get Parker? One spot? I don't value Boone much at this point. He's made too many contradictory and self serving statements for my liking.

We still have to convince MIA to basically give us their highly coveted player for our moody RG and our first. They likely viewed Parker as their AJ Green and as we know you don't often see number one WRs in FA. You either drafting those guys or you get a diva that wasn't retained because of attitude issues like TO Brandon Marshall or Desean Jackson. I don't think MIA was passing on Parker for Boone. I think it was just too hard to move up the top half of this draft rd 1. We will probably move up today though with our extra 4th rd pick we got yesterday
we need to drop this booze hound like a bad habit

Could have traded with NO ahead of Miami...as the Saints drafted an OT. With Boone and the 15th pick they would have had a very capable OT who would be better than a rookie AND the 15th pick for whatever needs they wanted to fill.

Wonder if the FO looked into that or not? Of course, maybe they weren't that high on Parker to begin with.

no.. we are in no position to get rid of o line guys, until we see how the kids and the guys who were hurt last year come around. now those guys can take advantage of boone being gone and if boone loses his job to one of them its his own fault and he will have sealed his own doom. unless he really creates a divide in the ONE locker room we have,, you keep him but he does not perform when he gets back and has a pissy way about him,, yes then we have a different conversation

I'm w/you BUTT not until we get his replacement AND more importantly, IMO, a quality swing tackle.

Watching Martin last season at RT was torture.

Yes, anything we say is conjecture! LOL...I love the what-ifs but never take them seriously.

Miami needs targets for Tannehill. Parker gives them that.

Any move involving Boone would more likely come in the 3rd round, IMO, if then.

It will take some maneuvering to move Boone. I don't think many teams want to take their mind off the draft in order to accommodate Boone's desire to get paid and away from SF. I see something after the draft that may include a drafted player though more likely a 2016 pick. Such a deal would include negotiating a new contract. No one is going to give up a pick and THEN deal with the contract.

KC might like to have him but their cap situation would preclude it.

Guys remember Boone is a nasty trench player, dont count him out dispite the issues.
Personially, i think he is pissed of the new coach hiring and not being payed. Last year wasnt all his fault bc the coachs didnt play to his strength... we ran way to much spread offence compared to a strong box offence

I Agree! They can also go ahead and take the Social Network Drama Queen Anthony Davis.

You're trippin. Our offense was night and day when Davis was in compared to when he was out.

what the hell are you talking about. so he does a little social network,, so what. he has been very good for us and we suffered when he did not play last year. he never got hurt before and we need him back. you people who want to drop boone and davis are just nonsensical

Went to the spread because the box was being stuffed. Plus, he didn't pass protect worth a darn...spread or no spread! He's a good player but I'm wondering if the niners did well to mask his short comings...not the most agile guy in the world.

Would like to see ADavis lose some weight for this year. I think he can be much better and it might help him avoid injury.
