I don't care that he's missing the optional workouts. Where he is messing up is, if true, trying to renegotiate after he already held out last year.

It is obvious that he doesn't care if he's on this team or not. Every player worries about money but it is more important to worry about performance which will get you the money. This dude appears as if he is more concerned with money over performance.

I agree with all the anti-Boone sentiments above. The guy does a 180 on Harbaugh, misses all of TC last year and had an average season at best, with a rough start at that, and now chooses to skip the voluntaries even though things will undoubtedly be different with the new coaching staff. On top of that, the 9'ers took a chance on a guy with anger and alcohol issues to begin with. None of these things are verty reassuring.

b***h has to go. He thinks he's a left tackle and wants to be paid like one. Holds out/ no shows and then plays like s**t when he still isn't happy. No longer worth the headache. We need to get something for him while we can. Trade his ass today and roll with Martin and Thomas at Guards. We may take lumps but we take them with Boone anyway. We need to acquire someone who can back up Staley at LT and we are golden. With Pears we are likely set at guard anyway.

Up till I heard this, I was thinking the 9ers would be inclined to pick a cornerback 1st round in the draft (unless a top prospect at another position drops that is too good to pass up) because I thought the cornerback position was a slightly less deep the offensive line positions. But now I'm a little more concerned that Boone may not play with the attitude he needs to bring this next season so I think that is just enough to tilt me in the direction of thinking the 9ers should take a guard/swing tackle in the first round if there is a top five offensive lineman like that available at their pick.

Boone needs to keep his mouth shut from now on. But the guy is HIGHLY underpaid!! If you were getting paid like the 43rd worst employee in your company, you'd be b***hing about your pay too. This s**t should have been taken care of last year before it became a problem. Easy fricken fix last year. Instead of throwing away $6.5 million dollars for yet ANOTHER possession receiver clone that sat on the bench all year, they should have paid VDavis & Boone what they're worth. Now we have one of the more well rounded OLinemen on the team b***hing & whining about everything since then. Boone is one of the few guys on this team that can pass block AND run block well and he can play LT pretty well too in a pinch, so let's not forget that.
