As I was informed earlier, there are no tie breakers involved since we tied. We are either a game up or a game down for the rest of the season.

Having said that, I am hoping the Pack wins cuz we already beat them in their house. I am not afraid of the Pack. I AM afraid of NYG, as they seem to have our number lately, so anything that brings them down is good for us.

I think you root against whoever you DON'T want to play in the playoffs, and for me it's the NYG.

Giants hold the tie breaker over us due to head to head. A loss pretty much eliminates the possibility of a similar record.

We hold the tie breaker over the Packers. But They are only .5 game behind with a victory.

F**K the cowgirls going going for the giants but will enjoy the game........WE WON ! GO 9ERS
Does it look like the Giants got the Niners and Packers ' number or is that too early...

Can you win a Superbowl with Flacco as your starting QB?
Giants do NOT hold a tie-breaker over us. And our win over GB is also irrelevant for tie-breakers.

Yes, NYG beat us. However, since SF has a tie they will either have one less win or one less loss than NYG (unless NYG have a tie this year).

So, as long as we win at least as many games as NYG we get the tie-breaker.

Example:

SF - 11-4-1
NYG - 11-5

Giants and Pack have to win more games than SF period to out-seed them.

SF wins tie-breaker.

Why do so many QB's have mustaches? They all look goofy
Manusky's defense in SD giving up that crucial 4th-and-29 brings up some bad memories of blown plays late in games in SF when he was here.

The Giants do hold a tie-breaker over us. If they were to tie a game and end up with the same record, they'd hold the tie-breaker.

They hold a tie-breaker over us, it just won't matter because we won't tie.

Yeah, OK, technically that's true.

But you get my point.

In your scenario above we aren't tied. We have the better record.
