Frank gore has all the respect from the league....... remember the name of this list top100 2012 players...... I think Frank will get his 1000 yards but he's on the decline of his career. he can show me wrong ... and I would love that but......

I say Andy Lee gets the surprise nod!

It SHOULD be Aldon, but logically, it should be Gore.

I was serious when I said Alex Smith would be the next QB.

I dont think he is done and I am a big Frank Gore fan but I honestly dont think he is going to get that respect he deserves and move at least 60 spots down from where he was ranked last year. As far as Goldson I just think he proved himself this year to be an elite safety and he did have a better year than Reed and Polamalu just based on INT's so why not. I do believe he is our best DB.

Goldson is not an elite safety, interceptions don't make you one either. Jarius Byrd had 9 picks in 10 starts his rookie year for the Bills and no one was talking about him as one of the better safeties in football, let alone putting him in the category of Ed Reed and Polamalu, who are both hall of famers. Goldson is a good safety who has the luxury of playing behind the very best front 7 in football.

So sorry your love of athletic competition doesn't allow you to enjoy the most storied sport in American history. Maybe we should all just start watching mixed martial arts which features the excitement of repetitive dick on forehead contact

lol, "storied." Those are some boring stories too

To me, baseball is somewhat like bowling. I LOVE to bowl, but watching other people bowl is incredibly boring. So goes baseball, golf, poker, etc.

Bowling Golf and Poker primarily feature fat white men in polo's and you hardly even have to move in those activities. Die hard sports fans would not even think about lumping Baseball in with those sports that you named. Willie Mays, Lou Gehrig , Hank Aaron, Joe DiMaggio, Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr, those are legendary athletes

lol, athletes. I would argue that there's more movement in bowling than in baseball. 99% of baseball is standing/sitting around which is one of the main reasons why it is boring.

BTW, I'm wondering if you would care to define the term "die hard sports fan" for me? Does that mean that I'm supposed to like anything and everything that appears on ESPN regardless of how interesting it is or isn't? I'm wondering how much into watching the "sport" of curling you might be since you are so "die hard"?
Come on guys. Aldon is not on the list. There is only 1 rookie left and it's Cam Newton. It's obviously Frank Gore, Justin Smith, and then Patrick Willis. End of discussion.
