Perfect..Even more they should give him a chance, looks like a very experienced veteran who didn't missed a single year of football.

This is what happens to UNDRAFTED players in this league. They are treated like garbage. Johnson was very good when he was with the 49ers but played behind #1 pick Alex Smith and high draft pick Colin Kaepernick. He never got a real chance despite looking good in preseason. He was good enough to be signed by 13 teams. Give the guy a chance. So what if he's 34. That's not old at all, especially by today's standards (see Brees and Brady). It would also do wonders for our salary cap situation.

The last time he was on the field beginning of this year. XFL competition might not be NFL quality but he's at least better than Mullens and Beathard. I followed the XFL for a little bit and I thought JJ and Jordan Ta'amu did well. Not saying he's the answer but at least give him a fair chance that's all.

Johnson looked very good when he played behind Smith and Kap but had no chance to play with the way UNDRAFTED players are treated (see RAHEEM MOSTERT). In my opinion, he's already better than Mullens and Beathard and would be a better backup. He's mobile and a very good passer. Because it makes sense, Kyle probably won't go there...Beathard is still his boy...
