So the rumor is Peyton will be released tommorow, if the cards sign him, I think we will be in a dogfight for the division title.
Most of our games with them are pretty tough, if they add Peyton, they could be dangerous! Don't get me wrong, we are plenty tough ourselves, and I see us beaten them more often than not!

Maybe bigger than last season. But they'd be f**ked going forward. An expensive short term solution? I hope the Cardinals sign him.

If he is healthy, I don't want him going there. They already have better receivers than we do. Can you imagine the numbers that Manning and Fitzgerald will rack up? We have a QB that is pedestrian at best. I think too many people are getting carried away by the season the 49ers had last year. It will be a lot more difficult this season. I hope the fans can keep things in perspective. Our offense is going to have to do a lot better than last year. Hopefully with a full training camp and at least one deep threat at receiver, they will be able to up their game.

Peyton sucks against complex 3-4 defenses, and we shut him down with almost half of the (then, not entirely-developed) defensive talent in which we have now, back in 2009, during their last Superbowl run (despite us losing, he couldn't score a single TD).

If they sign Peyton, they have three options with Kolb's $65MM contract. Cut it, trade it or keep it.
With the addition of Peyton's contract... they're f**ked no matter what they do.
Fitzgerald's 2012 cap number is $20MM. They'd have a stupid amount of money tied up in three players.
They can have him.

I'm not too worried about that happening. I think he might not even get a clean bill of health and if he does their o line is suspect, he won't stay healthy for long.

That's the worst part about this. Why give up entirely on an investment like Kolb? Seattle makes way more sense from a management perspective. I think if Beanie Wells stays healthy and is consistent, the Cardinals improve dramatically. Let's not get the facts twisted we lost to John Skelton! To simply throw out reasoning like "ALDON SMITH" and "OUR D" is naive.

Even with Skelton or Kolb next year AZ will challenge us. There D really got there s**t together once they figured out the 3-4 if Wells stays healthy watch out
