When your down to your third string quarterback and you can't keep your number one receiver healthy so defenses are loading the box because they know you can't throw and your still busting out 100 yard games then the player deserves every bit as much the credit as the "system". A system can only protect for so long and for so many situations. Many were saying the same about our quarterback this year until we beat the Saints.

Mangini said it best. saying someone is a system player is stupid. he tried the same system NE ran in CLE and we all know how that turned out
