Can you blame him? The last time he was franchised he got hurt, had a dozen or so screws put in his throwing shoulder and almost has his career ended. Then was released. He's going to hold out without a deal done.

its been reported that this year of his contract just wont count. so if he had 3 years remaining on his contract, he will have 3 years remaining when he comes back.
That's what I heard too. So really he is not out 7M because coaches salaries are guaranteed. He just doesn't get paid this year.

Yup, that pretty much sums it up. Gotta love how HC Payton denied it and claimed he didn't know, but the email to him said they're betting to take out A. Rodgers in Week 1.
