ABQ ain't no sunflower either dude. In fact, I think I would much rather live in El Paso.

Saying I'd rather live somewhere other than ABQ isn't much of a stretch. However, saying I'd rather live in El Paso is.

Well, if you're gonna put one in Toronto........

Don't tell me it's too close to Seattle. Not the way all those teams out East are so close.

Vancouver is beautiful. I love the city. But they have a serious traffic problem. No freeways. How do you get 80,000 fans in and out? Pretty tough in that city IMO.

Vancouver has the 99 freeway going right through the city. I say they can build a stadium on the outskirts of town. Surrey, BC is very close to the US-Canada border, not as populated, and is mostly farm land.

Whatever dude
I don't think there will ever be an NFL team in Vegas because the players would get in so much f**kin' trouble.
OAK-SD-DEN-San Anton

SF-SEA-LA-ARI

I like San Antonio but it doesn't seem West enough to fit in. Plus isn't the Alamo Dome pretty run down.

Portland or Vancouver would make sense Geographically. Then there could be 2 teams in the Northwest, 2 teams in the bay area, two teams in So-cal (if SD stays in so-cal and LA gets a team) and Arizona and Denver.

Vancouver is large enough to support a team but I think the Seahawks already control that market.

not true, there are lots of seahawks fans here, but every other person is a fan of a different random nfl team

I would say none. The west coast is not as sport obsessed as the rest of the country, and economically none on that list could support a team except Vegas, which has the same problem as LA: no one is actually from there and generally already have a team they root for.
If anything the south is the place to go, just look at census trends, that's where all the people are going. But all the major cities in the south already have a team except one: San Antonio. For some reason the Spurs are considered small market but SA is the 7th biggest city in the US and it will only continue to grow. Football is king in Texas, to me it's a no brainer.

Thats funny. I don't know who came up with this?? I've heard it a couple times. Seattle doesn't seem to have too much trouble getting good fans. Niners, although right now perennially one of the worst teams in the sport, still rack in plenty of money and have a huuge following. The Broncos are awful too, and they still have top 5 attendance. Chargers stadium is worse than ours, and they still seem to field great teams with decent attendance.

The Al Davis' aren't worth discussing, and the entire state of Arizona is pretty much a collective group of fairweather fans, no offense.

You think LA is gonna have trouble cuz everyone likes a different team? SA is gonna have it much worse w the Cowboys, Texans, Oilers, and maybe even the Saints now.

Just because there are more people on the East does not mean they are more sports obsessed. Sure you've got the Yankees/Sox etc, but people care about their teams on the best side too. I live in Dallas, but I grew up in Orange County. All the South cares about is college sports, or more to the point SEC football.

The west is obsessed with sports, we just don't have the number of huge cities to represent it. I'm sure you toss a team in LA and it'll do just fine. The south, most notably Dallas Texas (katrina, and smart businessmen fleeing from the joke of a business climate in california) is the fastest growing area, but the west is right behind it.

What about El Paso or West Texas?

As much as I would love that, our economy just won't be able to support it.

El Paso is not that big and not that rich.

There's a ton of people, but not big businesses which are a must. Plus it's basically Mexico with a fence in the middle.
