Wow, I didn't think Harbaugh had it in him to ever let go of Roman.

JH is one hell of a football coach!
Locked in, who's got it better than us?!!!
Now how many years until gets his first playoff win with the Chargers?
Good move, the Chargers were going nowhere under Greg Roman's offense.

He has a better chance of doing that in the future after getting rid of Greg Roman.

Roman taking the fall for Jim Harbaugh. Jim can't let go of what he learned from Schembechler

I would lean that way unless he makes an equally abysmal hire to keep the Bo Schembechler scheme going.
Get a real xs and os guy. Check the ego.

Get someone in there to center the offense around Justin Herbert - he's a top 5 QB.

Eric Bieniemy would be a good mix with Harbaugh scheme wise. Former RB so you know he likes to run the ball like Harbaugh, but with Andy Reid ties to the passing game. Maybe Nagy also.

Lol, that meathead idiot would be a Harbaugh kind of hire.
Or he could stun everyone by bringing in someone like McDaniel and letting go of his need to run a 1978 style offense.

Wonder if it was Harbaugh's decision to fire him, or upper management kind of let Harbaugh know this needed to be done no matter what.

If it's the latter we know where things are headed.
Should've been fired after that debacle at the end of the Super Bowl in 2012

On their last offensive play...
4th and 11 was it?
Roman calls a playaction out of Shotgun
Sure it doesn't seem like it might be a big deal, but that slight hesitation,to try fool the defense that you might try to run it on 4th and long with your season on the line, was idiotic and unnecessary... it caused Herbert to look down for a bit and look away from the defense. Maybe just enough for the pressure to get their sooner.
