That list is bogus without accounting for the QBs they've had. With that said, it makes what Tomlin has done all the more impressive. Andy Reid as well because he always had great QB depth when in Philly.

Re: the fan posting that he's basically abandoning the 49ers for the Chargers because of Harbaugh.

I've seen this before - fans in 1993 becoming Chiefs fans because of trading Montana.

He definitely wins everywhere he goes. Usually a quick turnaround too. He's a fantastic coach. But an eccentric personality.

It was after George W Bush used faith to win the election.. and the 9er FO was like s**t, we suck right now... we'll get this guy in a fake suit (Nolan) and find a way to trick our fans to be and stay in denial and support us EVEN when we make stupid decisions and lose many games. Blindfully supporting us.

And that s**t worked so well that it is still used today.

I hated it they first started... if we had a good search system on this forum I could pull it up.

I do not recall that. I didn't follow closely around 2001-2005 because of college.

Yup. Rooting for him to succeed. Had to claw his way from the bottom unlike our nepo baby HC who got everything handed to him.

It shows too. Showing up drunk to a media event at the super bowl like a spoiled kid who thinks he earned something. Smh
