Why? Just curious.

I think he has done a terrific job with Matt Ryan and the Falcons as OC. He was also Pittsburgh's offensive coordinator for several years and was successful there. Also has HC experience at Buffalo which certainly had mixed results but he had JP Loshman and Kelly Holcomb as his QBs. Just think his 2nd go around as a HC will be much better than the first time around. Smart, offensive coach and that is what the Niners need.

Yes they do. That is a shocking move. Looks like Indy will win NFC South again next year.

Al Davis really likes Hue Jackson, their offensive coordinator. And it wouldn't surprise me to see Hue Jackson get some interviews from other teams. He did a fantastic job with playing musical chairs with their QBs, but still maintaining a good offense with a strong rushing attack.

So firing Tom Cable will allow Davis to hire Jackson. And I think the Raiders have a chance to earn a playoff wildcard birth in 2011 with Jackson as their HC.

Here are my guesses actualized

49ers : Sing OUT Harbaugh IN (stays in the bay area were he lives for the past 8 years)

Dallas : Phillips OUT Garrett IN (team played inspired with him and won enough games)

Cleveland : Mangini OUT Billick IN (worked with Bill walsh like Holmgren that will not land his dream job in SF and will not return to coaching this year and expose himself too much)

Carolina : Fox OUT Mornhinweg IN (develop next QB, they start from sractch so no big name coach there i assume)

Denver : McDaniels OUT Cowher IN (it is the weakest division, do not face steelers and bellichick/ryan on a year basis, fan base + team history attracts him)

Miami : Sporano OUT Gruden IN (worked in TB and loves Florida, wouldn't mind the challenge to play vs Ryan and bellichick : would satisfy his ego)

Tennessee : Fischer STAYS (i think he's gone if Cowher is available and takes tennessee job over Denver)

Oakland : Cable OUT Jackson IN (al cans cable who was a fill in before jackson leaves for another team)

Already decided :
Minnesota : Frazier IN (was right)
Houston : Kubiak STAYS (was right)
Jacksonville : Del Rio STAYS (was right)
Cincinnati : Lewis STAYS (was wrong)

Stupid move by Bud Adams, Vince Young is an average QB at best. He has the mental toughness of a 2 year old. Fisher would be a good 2nd option if Harbaugh does not come here.

I agree.. Fisher has been holdin down the fort for a long time. Give him a few boy genuisis(sp?) at his disposal to mentor (OC/DC) and i think he can change a teams ways.
