Rex is a great coach, there's a reason why players like Trevor Pryce jump at the chance to play with him (again). You might think he's crass, but is it any more so than dropping your pants in the locker room to get your point across? Also, he's gotten a disproportionate amount of exposure due to 1. Being in a huge market (NY), and 2. Hard Knocks. Secondly, he doesn't care if people hate him. His philosophy is that players perform better when expectations are high.
