I don't understand why this thread is allowed to be in Niners Talk forum while the following thread was pushed to "Other Sports". This doesn't seem fair at all.

1) Life isn't fair

2) No Mod is around to see it and move it.

Just hire Gruden and let him take care of business. I don't want Singletary's dumbass running things.

Dude will create a new revolutionary offense. The language in the offense may be too complex for some, but finally an offense that is geared towards Alex Smith, who we all know is extremely intelligent. Who's on board?

Best idea yet

WTF?????? Who merged my Harbaugh for head coach thread with potential offensive coordinators???? I was not advocating Harbaugh for offensive coordinator! I was pushing him for head coach!!!

I want answers now
oops double post

If sing doesn't take us to the playoffs then I'm done with Singletary, Raye and Alex Smith. We have the talent to be a team that goes deep into the playoffs.

I'm all for Harbaugh as the next HC. Honestly, I just want a head coach that runs his own offense.

Nate Davis would do wonders under BuZzB28

Hiring Gruden could make a lot of sense because of the WCO tradition. Don't the Niners have hundreds of hours of film of Walsh installing the WCO that's going to waste?

I like Harbaugh a lot too though. I think he's going to be special in the NFL someday. Does anyone know what kind of offense he runs?

I think some people are forgetting what a struggle it was for Sing to hire an OC before the 09 season. Remember Linehan shunning us? Sing would basically have to be completely shut out and have no say in the offense for us to land a creative playcaller while he's still around.

I'd like to get back to our roots so my candidates would be:

Brian Billick
Pat Morris
Tom Rathman
Tom Clements

Harbaugh is our next head coach for sure. His teams are always more prepared than their opponent. The exact opposite of what we now have. The OC is whoever he chooses. Harbaugh knows a thing or 2 about offense BTW. He is somewhat the HC/OC everywhere he goes.

The QB is whoever he drafts and coaches up. Andrew Luck has talent but he is coached up too by Harbaugh and perhaps looks better than he really is. It was the same way here in San Diego with Harbaugh at University of San Diego. Take guys with ok talent and make them look like stars at the QB position. That's how he got the Stanford job. By winning and coaching up the QB play. He's exactly what we need.

Harbaugh would be priority #1 for the offseason for me. I would keep Baalke as draft man though. He should be promoted to GM. I think this draft was outstanding. We just have a coach who doesn't know how to use them. But there is obvious talent there in the draft class.

Does he run a WCO?
