Nolan sucks.....he thought he could harness smiths brain to mold manning 3.0. He can't. In fact smith has crap instincts and is so timid he is unfunctional with out years of prep time in the same offense.

True Dat. I am really wrapping my head around the idea of 'continuity', the same system, year in, year out, is what really drives the NFL. We had really crappy luck with the departures of McCarthy and Turner, and the whole Nolan fiasco. I like what ARodgers has done, but nobody really knows what ASmith's potential really is. He is finally getting a real chance.

Come on now! They both had the same coordinator (Green Bay head coach) and one tends to hold on to the ball too long and run ti his right when he get's pressure. The other get's rid of the ball quicker has a stronger arm and is more accurate! One has swagger, one has fake swagger that he had to learn! One sat behind a HOF QB with a SB ring (Linart did the same thing and look how that turned out).

To say that a QB needs to play with a PERFECT supporting cast is a huge mis conception (look at Brady's SB teams, then look at his WR's). When it comes to the "IT" factor, AS doesn't have it! Gore did his damage on all of the same teams with the same supporting cast that A. Smith Failed on, including the o-lines and WR's, not to mention with 8-9 players in the box so I don't want to hear any more excuses for A. Smith!

one of Rodgers' knocks is holding the ball too long. Hence, a lot of the sacks early last year.
