I think the limit to how much i can genuinely get upset about was passed a while ago. I've been at "let's just see what the hell happenes" for a while now as it pertains to how good we are next year.

Exactly. The "experts" all think this team will go 1-15, so no reason to stress about it. The coaches will deal with it and life will go on. Since it was a "lost season" already better to get all the unmotivated slackers off the team now anyway, right?

Well f**k it, hopefully they can make it to training camp without any else retiring. Kind of a dick move on the part of Davis since I'm thinking this would definitely have altered the 49ers draft strategy by a bit.
