I hope we trade for him, i think it'd be really awesome for us. Plus i think it'd make sense.

What the Steelers WANT and what they GET are two entirely different things.

Nobody is going to trade that kind of value for the damaged goods that is Ben RuthlessBanger.

Only Al Davis would make a trade like that. And he just might. Because -- he's Al. And he drools on himself.

Then they'll just keep him. I think the point is that they want something great, or they'll just hang onto him.

I don't know. You might be right. Then again, you might be wrong. This is Pittsburgh. This kind of BS just doesn't fly with them. The Pittsburgh Steelers are bigger than Big Ben RuthlessBanger. They're bigger than any one player.

I think they've come to the decision that Big Ben has a Big Empty Hole in his head and is never going to "get it." These are just incidents with two different women. There have been others -- not dealing with women -- that greatly illustrate Big Ben's Big Lack of Maturity.

Even Terry Bradshaw has gone on record -- years ago actually -- calling on the Big Boy to grow up.

Don't think it worked.

I think Pittsburgh gets the best deal it can and deals. My guess is Big Ben will be wearing a Silver and Black jumpsuit pretty soon.

That's worse than jail time.

I think if they give up their pick and Roethlisberger for the 8th pick, I think the Raiders bite. He would instantly give them a winning chance rather than Fatty McFatfat.
Didn't homeboy just get a six game suspension?
IF the raiders gave up their top pick for him, who would the steelers pick?
I wonder what they would ask of the niners for him.....they already got battle may.be roman and balmer.
I think they should trade for Ben, if the price is Third rounder. let him sit this year since he is not gonna participate in offseason activities. Then next year decide who is the better QB for the team. If Alex does not play well this year, niners are gonna regret not taking Ben.

You're not going to get him for a 3rd rounder, and he'll start every game he plays this year.

they are not getting anything better then 2nd rounder, because who knows when Ben will be able to practice and sounds like Stealers are getting desperate. They let go holms for 5th rounder. I would be surprised if they get anything better then 2nd round pick in return.

Big Ben will only be suspended for 4 games.

I think the Steelers are trying to get a top 10 pick and thats it, if they dont they wont trade him. Sure they are pissed at him but they are not just gonna give him away either
Do it!

Trade Alex Smith plus our #17 and throw in Mark Roman while your at it.

Grab an OL at #13 and we're good to go.

Superbowl!!! ***foreal.*
I don't think anybody lives near Pittsburgh like I do. I hear you people saying that he would be a good fit for the 49ers, he won't.

Atleast 75% of the Steeler fans I know do NOT like Ben, they would rather see him traded than be on their squad next year. They admit he can be good but he can also be very bad there is no in between. They also say he is the most arrogant selfish SOB on the team.

I also believe that the people that do like him think that he is god, because he took them to 2 super bowls. What they don't realize is that he sucked it up in the first one, and in the second it was LUCK that Holmes caught that pass.

I would be royally pi$$ed if the Niners traded for Ben.
Report: Cardinals called Steelers about Roethlisberger
Posted by Michael David Smith on April 22, 2010 11:39 AM ET

If the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to trade quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the Arizona Cardinals would make sense as trading partners, considering that head coach Ken Whisenhunt was the Steelers' offensive coordinator for the first three seasons of Roethlisberger's career.

John Clayton of ESPN said on 620 KTAR that the Cardinals are at least interested enough to give the Steelers a call.

"The Cardinals did check in. They called and made communication, " Clayton said on KTAR. "They did not make a real offer that is going to get anything done and I don't even know if it got to the offer stage".

The fact that the Cardinals called could be interpreted as a sign that Whisenhunt is less than completely confident in Matt Leinart being the right quarterback to run his offense. On the other hand, the fact that the Cardinals haven't gone so far as to make an offer is a sign that the Cardinals' interest in Roethlisberger is muted.

And if Whisenhunt doesn't want Roethlisberger badly enough for the Cardinals to make an offer, the chances are pretty good that every team in the league has determined that Roethlisberger is too toxic to trade for.
