Per Adam Schefter: Last year the Browns could have had Jay Cutler for Brady Quinn. This year they got two late-round picks and Peyton Hillis.

Quinn wasn't THAT bad was he? I remember he had a few good games. Considering how poor the talent was around him, he did ok. Good trade for the Broncos. Hillis isn't a bad pick-up for Cleveland though. I remember his rookie year he had a few good games then was forgotten last year pretty much

Jay Cutler is a legitimate starter (if he has a good supporting cast). Disregard his first year in Chicago where the best receiver is a PR/KR specialist.

The Mike Martz gamble could be boom or bust for Cutler.

Quinn is gonna blossom in Denver. I think Marshall will be staying in Denver as well doesn't look like he's going anywhere anymore.

Whats the bad rap on Brady? Seems like an idea guy to build around. Proven winner, came from a pro set offense, good arm, decent mobility, etc. Does he have bad work ethic? I mean I know he wasn't perfect but when I saw him play he wasn't terrible. If Alex Smith gets another chance why wouldn't Brady Quinn? I'm just asking btw pardon my ignorance.

this is going to change the draft a bit towards the top...

i now expect Cleveland likely goes after a quarterback for the future with their top pick....which likely drops eric berry to the jaguars, who may pass as well...and then?

i have been over getting berry for a long time, but with this there is now a legitimate chance....it would feel like a lot like crabtree falling to us last year.

If he drops to 9 or 10 range, I feel like we have to trade up to grab him. Would probably only cost us a 3rd rounder or something. Maybe a future 4th as well.

That would not be a bad move. I think Tate is going to be a damn good WR.

they gave up on Quinn too soon. he only started 12 games for them over 3 years. and they didn't even get jack s**t for him.

Exactly. I think they should've waited at least this year to see what he does without Derek Anderson looking over his shoulders.

Who did he have to really throw too? Edwards had one really good year and I've never been sold on Winslow. I think with good coaching and a stable offense with a better line, he can be a good QB.
