I'm enjoying Vernon having a sh**** QB now than he ever did......JTO, Shaun Hill....
Just imagine if he needed 40 yards for the record this game, he wouldn't have gotten it!!

IMO, Vernon has always sucked and could never play well within the offense. He was only successful if his number was called AND the routes were the 2 routes that he specialized in.
To me, dude has always sucked. He was just lucky that we had a super strong run game to force a defense to crash down.

Vernon somehow managed to go to a QB situation worse than ours. Enjoy.

Did he catch one today?
1 catch for 8 yards
DENVER—For most of the Sunday disaster, the Denver Broncos' new secret weapon stood on the sideline holding his helmet behind his back.
At least Vernon Davis is still a secret.
"I thought I was going to play a lot, too," Davis said. "I was confused. I thought I would play a lot more than that. Very confused.''
It wasn't until garbage time – after Denver fell behind 29-0, and after starting quarterback Peyton Manning was benched in favor of Brock Osweiler -- that Davis caught his first pass as a Bronco.
The tight end finished with two catches for 19 yards. But for the bulk of the game, Davis was a bystander. After he was acquired from the San Francisco 49ers in deadline trade two weeks ago, Davis has barely played in his first two games.
He only got in for nine offensive plays last week in a 27-24 loss at Indianapolis. He had zero catches. Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak said Davis would get more playing time Sunday against the Chiefs.
And Davis was targeted on the Broncos' first pass play of the game but Manning badly underthrew the ball and it was intercepted.
That was pretty much it for Davis until the fourth quarter and his Broncos were well behind.
"I want to help this team win," said Davis, who has yet to experience victory with the Broncos. "That's where my focus is at.''

This actually makes perfect sense. I worked at a restaurant in the South Bay where Vernon was a regular. Actually, a lot of Niners were regulars there: Willis, Iupati, etc. Vernon was the only dude who would talk, talk, and talk non stop about everything, including the team. I specifically remember asking about AJ Jenkins, just to see if he was that way about his own team as well. He did not hesitate in offering his opinion about how much of a bust Jenkins was. Vernon has a big mouth and it would not surprise me that he would be the rat. He doesn't shut up. Iupati and Willis never talked, let alone discussed dressing room concerns with the general public.

The more Vernon adjusted Vernon gets with his new team the better he will look.
Brock has the arm to reach him, but is not as accurate as healthy Manning.
so with this big lead they have in the division, I think will just be patient with Manning and continue to ease Vernon in.
then late in the year, it should be interesting.
