hell no they shouldnt change it. I dont think they named the team the Redskins to purposely offend Indians, people are jsut bored and need to get over it

While we're at it:
Change "Giants" too; it offends little people.
Change "Saints" too; it offends sinners.
Change "Dolphins"; it offends underappreciated porpoises.
Change "Browns"; it offends the color Beige, and Mexicans and Filipinos and Mulattoes.
Change all teams that have a bird as a mascot, as it offends worms.
While we're at it:
Change "Giants" too; it offends little people.

I don't see how naming your football team after something is offensive, quite the opposite it's an honor. As these names are symbols of the strength of your team.

There's a large Asian community in San Francisco. Let's honor them by renaming the 49ers as the San Francisco Yellowskins.
